How far apart should I space my gutter and downpipe brackets?

1m spaces are considered too large.

With Lindab guttering, its recommended that gutter bracket spacing is started 100mm in from the end, and then every 800mm thereafter. Typically in the UK we always hear the 1 metre spacing rule, which in fact does work for most systems. However with Lindab, they recommend every 800mm. With downpipe the recommendation is every 1500mm, and 150mm in from any shoe or bend collar. The pictures should help explain. CLICK HERE FOR BRACKETS
